The 3rd Japan Endovascular Treatment Conference (JET2010) will be held over three days from April 23 (Fri) to 25 (Sun), 2010.
Japan Endovascular Treatment Conference (JET) is a new conference starting from 2008, created with a focus on the endovascular field. Endovascular treatment is currently a fast growing part of the cardiovascular field in Japan. It is generally assumed that cardiovascular physicians have become more aware of the vital importance to manage all blood vessels in the body including the carotid arteries and arteries of the lower limbs, in order to help their patients achieve a better quality of life. Against this backdrop, we have created a new style of conference which focuses on the endovascular field, through the following objectives: |
| 1. |
Provision of study opportunities of endovascular treatment through JET |
Provide opportunities for cardiovascular physicians involved with intervention of the coronary arteries as well to intensively study endovascular treatment.
| 2. |
Creation of a full program focused on endovascular treatment |
Create a full program covering a wide range of fields related to endovascular treatment (including carotid arteries, renal arteries, iliums, SFAs, aortas, legs, AAA angiosurgery, brain surgery, and renal internal medicine).
| 3. |
Collaboration between cardiologists and physicians in other fields, for the development of endovascular treatment |
Aim for the balanced treatment through the participation of both cardiologists and physicians from other fields at this conference.
Our ultimate goal is to be recognized as the standard in the field of endovascular treatment in Japan.
The last JET conference was successfully held with more than 1,000 participants, thanks to a great deal of support and cooperation from various fields.
To enhance the program, we are now leading a new initiative to hold the joint conference with the Japanese Society of Limb Salvage and Podiatric Medicine (President: Masato Nakamura, M.D., Cardiology, Toho University Ohashi Medical Center).
We sincerely look forward to the participation of many members in this event. |
